About us

BACPA (Body Art And Care Professionals Association)

BACPA was created in January 2020 and is a voluntary organization of professionals in the field of Care and Body Art, for the benefit and interest of them and the public mission and objectives, in accordance with its vision. BACPA was established on the basis of law no. 8789, dated 07.05.2001 For the registration of non-profit organizations, as well as on the basis of the Act on the Establishment of the Association of Art and Body Care Professionals.

Mission

The mission of BACPA is to facilitate the development of professionals in the field of care and body art in Albania and throughout the Albanian-speaking area and beyond, through various dynamic and information tools, projects, training activities, able to influence policies and actions in governance. All members of BACPA are professionals who express their willingness to be participants. Members can be professionals in the field of skin health care, hairdressing, esthetics, make-up and related fields in Art and Body Care. Members can also be representatives of Education and Vocational Training, professional policy makers in the field, product providers, artists, members of the media, etc.

Memorandum of cooperation between BACPA and DHKZ

Areas of cooperation

On 09.07.2020, the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Association of Care Professionals and Body Art (BACPA) with President Mr. Ilir Tafaj, and the National Chamber of Crafts (DhKZ) with representative President Mr. Luan Bregasi. The purpose of this Memorandum expresses the readiness of the parties for a commitment, cooperation and common interest in increasing the quality of the craft sector and especially the service sector in the field of care and body art. By creating a comprehensive framework to facilitate existing and new mutually agreed activities through the exchange of information deemed appropriate by each party. In addition, separate teams of the Parties can enter into collaborations, where different actors, including professionals from the field of hairdressing, Aesthetics, Aesthetic Physiotherapy, Aesthetics, massage therapy, make-up, etc., can agree to carry out activities of various promotional, training, competitions, etc.

  1. Effective communication between the Parties to realize projects or trainings of common interest. Development of cooperative projects in the interest of both Parties.
  2. Organization of exams within the framework of obtaining the professional titles Journeyman, Master and Experienced Master for former students and trainees who meet the conditions of the titles.
  3. Sharing knowledge and data that advance the mutual interest of the Parties in accordance with the procedures and policies of each Party.
